I finally did it…I had never actually ever put a vision board together. I know. It’s crazy that with all the things always going on and the work I’ve done over the years, I did not take the time to do this for myself.
But it was important to me to reach out to connect with the people who have participated in our Parent University over the last couple of years. I thought it would be good to encourage everyone to think about the things we want to have some control over and the things we want to focus on after the disaster that was 2020. This is a good thing! That’s what I’m told. That’s what I’m choosing to believe. Let’s do this together.
It was also a good opportunity to level up some of my own skills, right? I want to use these tools, these platforms, with more ease and confidence. There is work to do, staying connected with potential clients and amazing colleagues, committing to social justice, and being flexible so that my business can grow. I took a leap and posted those feelings on Instagram- I made a quick video when I felt overwhelmed with the pressure of doing more that made the business about me. And then I chickened out for a couple of weeks! What have I been doing?!
Well, I need to be the face of my own business.
Because that is the point! I started this for personal reasons, for my own purpose, to fill these needs based on MY experience. So, I need to share what I’m about; I need to connect with people; I want to keep making a difference. How can I help?
